Tomorrow we meet Oundle II, who currently sit in second place in our league, two places and one point above Stockwood Park. Oundle have won each of their league matches comfortably, although their match against Brackley was played as Game On, and therefore recorded as a 0-0 scoreline, but with 5 points being awarded to Oundle. Last weekend they beat Northampton Casuals 50-21 at home, whilst we won away at St Neots 32-13, to maintain a 100% record.
We will be joined on Saturday by Bill Wood, one of our Vice Presidents, who is over from America, and whom many of the older club members will know. For those less long in the tooth, Bill was a fine centre, who played 49 matches in Stockwood Park’s unbeaten run of 50 games in the 1970s.
